are honote!

We are a circle/community based in Samarinda, East Borneo that focused on sharing our passions with drawing. We did and participated in drawing-related events and creator conventions.

Honote was formed on August 18, 2018. Honote stands for the words Hope, Noise, and Egalite, and has the slogan 'Learn Together and Share with Us'. The main purpose of the formation of this community is to participate in developing the creative industry in the East Borneo region.The reason for the formation of this circle/community is because there is still a lack of interest in the creativity of the community in the field of creative industries (art and illustration) in Samarinda.

experiences:

1) Animfest - 2019

We did digital illustration assets for Animfest 2019 and opened our first merchandise booth, we also do live-drawing for visitors to see.

2) Honote Goes to School - 2019

We visit local high-school to share basic courses of digital drawing voluntarily, our main goal was to introduce students to art and illustrations by Creative Sharing. We invited LINE webtoonist Kiyoshin_ as a speaker.

3) Nihon Bunkasai - 2019

Collaborating with Japanese teachers around Borneo and Surabaya's Consulate-General of Japan, we participated as digital assets provider for a school event (bunkasai) where students around Borneo are participating in competitions. We also do mascot design, merchandising and Judges for drawing competition.
